World Plumbing Day 2025

Introduction

The Origin of World Plumbing Day

World Plumbing Day, celebrated annually on March 11, was established by the World Plumbing Council (WPC) to raise global awareness about the crucial role plumbing plays in protecting public health, ensuring access to clean water, and promoting environmental sustainability. This day serves as a reminder of how essential plumbing systems are in addressing water scarcity, improving sanitation, and supporting sustainable development.

This year marks a historic milestone as Sabah proudly hosts the World Plumbing Day celebration for the very first time. In light of the RAMADAN, we have moved the celebration forward to February 16, ensuring that it remains a key event in our community’s calendar. This inaugural event not only highlights the dedication of the Sabah Plumber Association but also underscores the state’s commitment to promoting excellence and innovation in the plumbing industry.

Through this meaningful celebration, we aim to inspire greater appreciation for the contributions of plumbing professionals and to educate the public about the importance of sustainable water management. Let this event serve as a platform for collaboration and progress, paving the way for a brighter future for both our industry and our communities.
