SPA 2030 is our Five-Year Strategic Plan for 2026–2030. It sets out a shared direction for strengthening Sabah’s plumbing profession, developing skills and knowledge, and contributing to more sustainable water management.
The plan brings together five priorities, from professional development and constructive collaboration to education and international exchange. Its roadmap and targets describe what we aim to work towards by 2030, providing a framework for future programmes and partnerships.
Strategic priorities
Build professional competency, deepen technical knowledge and encourage good standards of practice across the plumbing profession.
Strengthen constructive relationships with government agencies, industry partners, academia and professional bodies through dialogue and shared knowledge.
Support water efficiency and initiatives that address non-revenue water (NRW), contributing to the responsible management of water resources.
Connect students and young people with plumbing through education, skills development and exposure to the industry.
Develop international relationships that enable the exchange of knowledge, technology and best practices within the plumbing and water sectors.
A planned progression over five years.
